screen shot of my nikon raw processor that is only offered for windows and mac users. now in this shot you see it running very well inside a gnu/linux operating system by installing the windows operating system into a free program called virtualbox and then installing the nikon raw processor into the running virtual os. photo shown of a part of a train and the moon. there are decent free linux raw processors but nikon's reads all the data and the way it appears on the camera when you shoot it. and it creates tiffs with little effort. so its like my camera can make tiffs with this software so i like to have it. By the way, every piece of software used in this is available to you right now at zero $ cost.
